October Favorites

  • It has been at least a year (if not two) since I have purchased liquid foundation. After a few recommendations I decided to purchase Two Faced – Born This Way, and it’s a keeper! The coverage is medium while leaving you with natural looking skin. It’s also super easy to apply with a Beauty Blender.
  • In a recent trip to Sephora I found something new – Kat Von D – Dagger Tattoo Liner. I’ve been a faithful user of Kat Von D tattoo liner for years. This new liner stays on as well as the original (tattoo like) and makes winged eyeliner a breeze!
  • For brows in an instant, Mirabella Brow Shaper is your best friend and can be purchased at Eclips Salon and Day Spa. Of the many great services offered at Eclips, one of my favorite is threading by Rashi. If you’ve been thinking about having your eyebrows threaded or looking for someone more local, click on the link above and easily book your appointment online! While you’re at it you may as well book yourself a facial with Amber and any other services you’re in need of for the holidays.
  • My olive top is from Modish Decorah. This top is comfortable, soft, and flattering – what more can a girl ask for!?
  • Sumner’s Cozy Gap Zip-Up Hoodie was a “necessity” for the cooling temperatures. It is super soft and extra cozy, as well as much easier than stuffing him in a puffy coat. Bonus it is 40% of right now at Gap, now is the time to get yours!
  • The pumpkin seed candle I burned 24/7 is from Sparrow’s Candles & Gifts in Decorah. My favorite thing about these candles is they are made with beeswax and soy – no terrible headaches.
  • And lastly a few good finds from Hobby Lobby (all on sale right now!)
