  • Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng – I saw this book on Rachel Cruz’s Instagram, it was an easy read and a good fiction book. I’ve been reading so many non-fiction books lately this was a nice change.
  • RISE Together – I still love the original RISE podcast, and now have added this one to my regular listening, Dave Hollis is so entertaining and they have good advice for couples.
  • Modish – I swear there is no better boutique to receive personal customer service. Steph and her staff are amazing at helping you find pieces that make you feel confident (and comfortable). Sumner and I go to Decorah often on Saturday mornings for Magpie (mama needs a vanilla latte) and Modish, I love supporting their small businesses.
  • BReaKeRs Strawberry Malts – I don’t even want to know how many of these I had! They are almost too good.
  • HeyDay Watch Band – These bands are super affordable at Target ($10) and are always available in fun colors. I’ve had mine for a couple months and have noticed no discoloration on the band but lost a little finish on the clasp which is essentially unnoticeable.
  • Powder Dip Nails – This is something I used to do regularly before having Sumner and then life got “busy”. While I still like ColorStreet I find Powder Dip Nails are a better choice for me because I like my nails done 24/7 with no chips. Check out YouTube for a video of powder dip nails if you’re wondering what the hell I’m talking about.
  • BareMinerals Pro Foundation – This is a classic I go back to almost every summer. I love how power foundation feels on my skin in the muggy weather. I also feel powder foundation lets my natural skin tone and freckles show through so it’s a good natural look for summer. This Morphe M444 brush is truly a game changer in apply this foundation, the coverage is amazingly perfect; not too sheer but not heavy.
  • Younique 4D Mascara – This was a product I thought “too good to be true”. While my results haven’t been as extreme as some of the ads I have seen, the results are great (my neighbor actually thought I’d gotten extensions) and the best upgrade from 3D is there is only ONE step.
